Part-Time Facilities Coordinator
GCSAA is seeking a part-time team member (15-20 hours/week) to perform building custodial duties to ensure the buildings and grounds are aesthetically pleasing. Will perform daily sanitizing functions (restrooms, break areas, common areas) to promote a safe and healthy environment. This position also reports general building maintenance needs to the Facilities Coordinator or Facilities Manager and assist with the recycling program as needed. This position will be up to 50% grounds and parking lot maintenance at our headquarters facility in Lawrence, KS.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in janitorial procedures, cleaning chemical, etc.
  • Dependable; self-starter with the ability to work individually and collaboratively.
  • Solid communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to Identify and solve potential problems and safety risks
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to three years commercial custodial experience
  • Certificate from accredited Technical/Vocational/Trade school (preferred)
  • Knowledge of landscape (flora, shrub) care (preferred)
  • This position will reside from our headquarters in Lawrence, KS.
  • Hours are 5:00pm – 9:00pm M-F (outdoor duties may warrant a 3:00pm start time certain months)

We take our work seriously, but we know how to have fun. Compensation range is $12.00- $13.00/per hour. A sign-on bonus of $200 will be paid after 30 days worked and an additional $300 after 90 days worked. GCSAA also provides part-time paid leave & holiday pay, community involvement opportunities and wellness incentives.
