Gold Sea Properties is Hiring a Property Manager Near Kansas, KS

Gold Sea Properties is looking to hire a property manager based in Kansas City or the surrounding area. Come join a rental business that is focused on providing safe and high quality housing along with five-star customer service to its tenants. You will also have the opportunity to work directly with leadership and learn about real estate investing strategies.

The ideal candidate will be driven, eager to learn, interested in self-growth, and pursue excellence in all aspects of his or her career.

Job Location:

  • 90% remote, 10% in-person (for occasional property showings to tenants in Kansas City, MO and Kansas City, KS)

Job Description:

  • This position will start out at 10 hours per week with potential for growth
  • Flexible work schedule during standard business hours (hours are somewhat dictated by needs of the property and tenants)
  • $20/hour

Job Responsibilities:

  • Respond to prospective tenant inquiries and booking/leasing requests
  • Manage existing tenants, including rent collection, lease renewals, and move-in/move-out processes
  • Respond and coordinate maintenance requests from existing tenants
  • Utilize marketing strategies to advertise rental properties, decrease vacancy rates, and qualify prospective tenants
  • Perform property showings for prospective tenants as needed
  • Assist in data collection and analysis regarding rental market trends

Required Skills:

  • 18 years or older
  • Detail-oriented
  • Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with tenants and contractors
  • Ability to respond after hours and or weekends as needed
  • Smartphone and laptop are required
  • Must have dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Missouri and Kansas real estate agent license
  • Interest in learning real estate investment strategies
  • Real estate investor experience preferred but not required

This position isn’t a good fit if:

  • The last time you read a non-fiction book about business, marketing, or self-growth was 3 months ago or greater. This position requires genuine interest in learning about real estate.
  • You are unwilling to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
