With a workforce of over 80 employees, we are dedicated to fostering a positive work environment and enhancing employee engagement. We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to play a key role in elevating our HR department.

Job Summary:
As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and practices tailored to meet the needs of our mill. You will work closely with the Vice President of Human Resources to ensure alignment with organizational goals and employee satisfaction.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, guidelines, and tools specific to the mill.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Human Resources to tailor organizational policies to local needs.
  • Lead on-site employee training sessions and facilitate the development of HR management responses and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide expert HR advice across all levels of staff, overseeing workforce planning, recruitment, staff administration, and more.
  • Engage in continuous education, participate in annual HR conferences, and contribute to research activities.

What It Takes to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred but not mandatory.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources Management within a manufacturing environment.
  • HR Professional Certification (SPHR, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
  • Experience in managing HR across multiple sites is highly regarded.
  • Strong communication skills and professional presence.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR practices and procedures with a generalist background.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with HRIS systems, Ceridian Dayforce preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $91,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

  • Winamac, IN: Relocate with an employer provided relocation package (Required)
