- Greeting guests promptly, cheerfully, and courteously.
- Conducting regular inspections of indoor and outdoor dining areas, and bussing and cleaning up tables and surfaces as needed.
- Interacting with guests to inquire about food quality and ensure that service is up to their expectations, including both bakery guests and hotel guests.
- Recording customer feedback and reporting to management.
- Replenishing supplies available to guests and reporting replacement needs to the kitchen.
- Maintaining first and second-floor areas accessed by guests organized and tidy, including hallways.
- Notifying cleaning staff if bathrooms or other areas need attention.
- Delivering orders placed by Meeting House hotel guests to individual rooms.
- Taking initiative when a need is identified, and performing other duties and tasks as assigned by the manager.
- 2 years of proven experience in a client-facing position with increasing levels of responsibility within a premium hospitality setting.
- Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor throughout all guest interactions.
- Enthusiasm for helping others and a natural servant-leader mentality.
- Desire to build genuine relationships with guests.
