Position Title: NCE Service Provider

Entity: Glow Networks, Inc.

Status: Must be US work authorized

Classification: Exempt

Location: May be based anywhere in the US, Mountain Time Zone work hours

Pay: $65 - $70 p/h, W2

Reports To: Project Manager

Summary:

We are seeking a Cisco Certified Network Engineer with service provider experience and a background in XR technology. Strong expertise with Cisco route switch in a service provider environment, interface with carrier networks, and related management solutions is required. Engineers must be based in the USA and will work Mountain Time Zone hours. The client is based in Denver.

Hiring Manager points of interest:

• Must have Cisco certification.
• Must have 5 years’ service provider experience supporting ATT, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, etc.
• IOS XR required.
• AWS required
• NCS 5000 experience required
• Candidates lacking these skills will not be considered.

Experience required in:

• SME Consultant, providing route and switch support for service provider and/or carrier networks, and related interface
• CCIE Routing and Switching desired, CCNP required
• Start date is May 1, 2024
• Fluent in English
• Subject Matter Expert in routing and switching in a service provider environment.
• Familiar with AWS, must make validations in AWS Console
• 5 – 10 years’ experience with NCS 5000, IOS XR, AWS Console is required
• Will perform route and switch support in a newly built integration lab
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer network issues, expedite case resolution.

Minimum Requirements:

• Based in or near Denver; may consider remote assignment anywhere in the USA.
• Must be self-motivated and a technical SME in routing and switching
• Customer facing role in service provider wireless networking.

• CCIE and 5 years of experience in network engineering or telecommunications support environment.
• Cisco IOS XR experience
• Outstanding communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills.

Supplemental Skills:

• Must be thoroughly familiar with AWS Console
• Thoroughly familiar with service provider networks, carrier networks and the interface between WAN and LAN.
• CCIE Certification desired
