The Content Manager manages team members for production and oversight of Content projects with a high-level view toward creating and maintaining a clear overarching brand storyline tied to the Company's strategic priorities. The Content Manager creates content for digital and print, producing innovative, engaging, sharable, and optimized content for various marketing projects including magazines, print collateral, digital, video, and more.
This individual works alongside the Director of Content to make sure incoming and in-queue projects are on task and on brand. The Content Manager oversees day-to-day work of content team as determined by the Director of Content. This position also helps ensure collaboration between other Marketing teams and stays connected to external customers' needs.
Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
• Delegate tasks and projects to team with appropriate training and ongoing support and supervision.
• Supervise staff and ensure their growth and understanding of Company brand and writing styles.
• Maintain the integrity of style and brand in all content projects.
• Champion clear direction and collaboration among Marketing teams.
• Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans and programs, both short and long-range, which help support strategic initiatives.
• Research, analyze, and monitor financial, technological, and demographic factors that can be used to create engaging content.
• Educate team on enterprise-wide expectations and standards as well as provide quality training and project-based growth opportunities where appropriate.
• Coach and counsel staff when experiences or problems impact job performance and encourage actions that mitigate further problems.
• Proofread copy to ensure accuracy and quality as well as relevant approach.

• Ability to autonomously investigate/research information needed for projects.
• Ability to communicate with all levels within the organization, including senior management and outside vendors.
Required Experience:• B.A. in English or Journalism from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must have 2-4 years of experience managing staff
• Must have 5-7 years writing experience as part of employment history
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Adobe XD, Workfront
