Corporate Communications Specialist

Role Overview :

Could you be our next Corporate Communications Specialist ? Globe Life is looking for an experienced Corporate Communications Specialist to join the team!

In this role, you will be responsible for creating and distributing multichannel communications that drive employee engagement by acting as a business partner to internal stakeholders in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.

This is a hybrid position located in McKinney, TX (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday-Thursday) .

What You Will Do :

  • Act as liaison between Corporate Communications team and internal stakeholders to coordinate, develop and execute communications strategy to reach established goals.
  • Manage content for assigned Marketing channels, suggesting strategic changes and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain and update detailed content schedule (weekly, monthly, and yearly) for stakeholders and coordinate with Corporate Communications Manager.
  • Collaborate frequently with other Marketing Department team members and management to align messaging and communication goals.
  • Implement feedback and apply style changes to future assignments.
  • Manage, research, and develop campaigns to align with best practices.
  • Adhere to and enforce the department’s style guide and ensures all materials are consistent in grammar, punctuation, formatting, and spelling.
  • Contribute to and / or oversees special projects as assigned.

What You Can Bring :

B.A. in Communications, Digital Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or other relevant degree from four-year college or university;

or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • 2-10 years relevant work experience.
  • Strong project management skills, flexibility to shift focus to different projects depending on business demand, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of project management, design, and proofing tools.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, PC operating systems.
  • Strong graphic design, content management, proofreading, employee engagement, and research skills required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with Team across multiple levels.
  • Creative thinker, self-starter, with excellent attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
  • Must be flexible and able to switch focus to different projects when business demands change.
  • Ability to prioritize projects, communicate progress and deliver on time.
  • Ability to autonomously investigate / research information needed for projects.
  • Comfortable communicating with all levels within organization, including senior management.
