Global Underground Corp is looking for a hardworking and dedicated Excavator Operator to join our team.
Candidates MUST have the following qualifications:
- 5 years’ experience operating a 45,000lb excavator or larger
- Experience with lifting overhead with excavator
- Experience rigging
- Willing and able to work overtime
- Performing laborer work when not operating equipment, to include but not limited to: working on uneven ground and rough terrain and in extreme weather conditions.
- Maintaining equipment inspections to assure regular maintenance is scheduled or necessary repairs are done
- Ability to perform basic maintenance to equipment, ex: greasing equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical errors
- Ability to lift 75lbs repeatedly throughout the workday
- Must be able to travel out of town up to 75% of the time
- Must be team oriented, detail oriented, focused, and a great communicator
- High attention to safety and promote a safe working environment
- Follow all OSHA, CDOT, and other safety standards
The following certifications are preferred, but not required:
- OSHA 10 and/or 30-hour course training
- Certified Machine Operator
- Class “A” CDL
- 1st Aid / CPR
