We are looking for a full-time Dispatcher for an immediate start for our busy Warehouse, Transportation and Logistics work for our partner company Caraleena Trucking LLC.

Are you a dispatcher with a knack for quick thinking and learning? Caraleena Trucking LLC is on the lookout for an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Dispatcher. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have 5 years experience as a dispatcher, possess local and port experience, and excel at organizing pickups, dispatching trucks, and managing documentation, we want to hear from you!

Duties include:
The Dispatcher is responsible for the efficient dispatching of trucks and drivers to locations with particular emphasis on the management of the documentation and paperwork, in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Dispatch Operations: Coordinate and schedule the transportation of cargo to and from Baltimore Port, local and national destinations. Efficiently dispatch trucks and drivers to various locations ensuring timely pick-ups and delivery.
2. Communication: Effectively communicate with drivers, team members, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates on shipment status, address any issues or concerns, and ensure smooth execution of logistics operations.
Monitor and respond to emails promptly throughout the day using Outlook and BizMail. Ensure timely and courteous replies to inquiries, maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
3. Monitoring and Tracking: Monitor and track shipments using systems and other software tools, proactively identifying and resolving any delays or disruptions in the transportation process.
4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of shipments, including documentation and billing information, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
5. Problem-solving: Quickly respond to unforeseen challenges or emergencies, implementing appropriate solutions to mitigate any potential impact on the transportation process.
6. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the logistics team, including drivers, colleagues, and managers, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of logistics operations.
8. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, promoting a culture of safety and compliance within the organization.
9. Quick Thinking: Act swiftly to address any unforeseen challenges or emergencies, employing quick thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure smooth operations.
10. Learning Agility: Adapt quickly to new situations, technologies, and procedures, demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
