General Description: Assist the Project Manager and other staff with completing protocol procedures and processing laboratory samples for shipment. Promote good clinical practices (GCP) in the conduct of clinical investigations. Someone who is very organized with willingness & energy to learn many aspects of research.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Perform medical diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms, blood pressure checks, glucose measurements, etc.

2. Collect and process blood and urine samples per protocol requirements

3. Professionally interact with subjects, visitors, staff, and other healthcare professionals

4. Maintain clinic and laboratory inventory

5. Sanitize and stock treatment rooms and subject bedrooms

6. Dispose of and replace biohazard waste in lab and exam rooms per OSHA requirements

7. Perform administrative tasks as needed

8. Troubleshoot any study issues

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner

2. Adhere to Good Clinical Practices (GCP)

Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks

Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or GED Transcript required

2. EMT and BLS certification required

3. Bilingual (Preferably)

4. 2 Years of Experience
