We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Owner to spearhead the digital build-out of commercial capabilities within our Digital ecosystem. This individual will play a pivotal role in overseeing the development of digital tools that our customers, particularly commercial roofing contractors, will interface with day-to-day to streamline and enhance their workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Delivery Management: Work closely with development teams to drive the timely and successful delivery of digital capabilities. Define requirements, author user stories, prioritize features, manage sprints, execute user acceptance testing (UAT), and ultimately ensure high-quality product releases.
2. Voice of Customer: Conduct in-depth market research and engage with commercial roofing contractors & internal stakeholders to understand their needs, pain points, and expectations. Translate customer insights into actionable product strategies & detailed requirements.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster strong collaboration with internal teams, including Tapered Design Services, ERP, and Field organization (Sales, Operations, & Branch Associates). Act as a liaison between various departments to ensure seamless integration of digital solutions into the commercial contractor workflow.
4. Value Generation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and create value propositions that align with the unique requirements of the commercial roofing sector.
5. Product Roadmap: Assist with developing and maintaining a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines the strategic vision and milestones for the digital tools catering to commercial roofing contractors. Ensure alignment with overall business goals and objectives.
6. Continuous Improvement: Monitor market trends, technological advancements, and customer feedback to iterate and improve existing digital tools. Stay abreast of industry best practices and incorporate them into the product development process.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (3 years) in product management and/or customer experience, preferably with a focus on digital tools for the construction or roofing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
- Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end product lifecycles and delivering high-impact digital solutions.
