Job Description

As a Product Owner, you will join our dynamic Product Management team dedicated to innovation and the development of cutting-edge products at blockit. As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in elevating blockit’s healthcare-based platform by collaborating with Product and Technology leadership to drive ideation, execution, and the successful delivery of new product initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders to shape and customize the product roadmap, guiding products and features from concept to launch in a fast-paced environment.

• Translate stakeholder strategies into comprehensive user stories for the development team.

• Schedule and lead meetings with software engineers and technical staff to identify issues, develop solutions, and propel project cycles forward.

• Manage daily product schedules, objectives, and product backlog, aligning priorities with customer expectations and company goals.

• Take charge of innovation and oversee the end-to-end launch of products.

• Define and execute go-to-market plans, ensuring all internal teams have the necessary resources for success.

• Develop and maintain robust tracking and reporting mechanisms to evaluate product performance post-launch and inform future investment decisions.

• Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and capable of effectively managing multiple tasks 

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment

• High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability

• Established background in launching software or services, proficiency in prototyping, iterative development and deep understanding of Agile principles

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results

• Passion for innovation and a keen understanding of market trends

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, data analytics preferred

• 4-7 years experience in a Product Management, Operations or Technology related position required

• Experience successfully driving end-to-end delivery of products, features and services 

• Experience working in a SaaS, healthcare technology/IT, or healthcare B2B environment required 

• Experience working in a startup environment is desirable
