We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician/Assistant to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our animal patients. Duties:

- Assist veterinarians in performing medical procedures and surgeries

- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians

- Perform laboratory tests and analyze results

- Monitor vital signs of animals during procedures and recovery

- Provide nursing care to hospitalized animals

- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment

- Maintain accurate medical records

- Clean and sterilize equipment and instruments

- Assist with radiographs and other diagnostic imaging procedures

Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of animal physiology, husbandry, and care

- Proficiency in laboratory procedures and techniques or willingness to learn and retain information taught

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to handle dogs and cats with care and compassion

- Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology
