Assists with the planning, operation and supervision of various recreational activities including adult and youth sports, aquatics, cultural events, outdoor activities, special events, Multi-Gen Center operations, contract classes and senior services. Receives general instruction but applies specialized skills and training in conducting recreational activities.
SUMMARY: Supervises police operations in the field and/or in an administrative function. Performs a variety of technical and administrative tasks in support of the Department.
Responsible for the maintenance, security and welfare of the Detention Unit holding facility and the persons detained within it. This is an entry level position with training academy graduation required for completion and appointment to Detention Officer.

Assists with the operation and supervision of various aquatic programs including public open swimming, learn-to-swim classes, swim team, swim meets, and special swim sessions. This is an entry level class.
Assists with the day-to-day operation of the aquatic facility and supervision of various aquatic programs including public open swimming, learn-to-swim classes, swim team, swim meets, special swim sessions and American Red Cross training classes.
