Job description
Timely and accurate processing of accounts receivable transactions including invoicing, collections, cash application, journal entries, and assisting with month-end close. In addition, primary backup for all accounts payable transactions including vouchering, payment, filing and problem resolution. May also provide limited support to human resource activities.
- Process billing/invoicing transactions for assigned order categories.
- Prepare required export documentation to facilitate compliance with international orders.
- Processing of Standby Letters of Credit for various customer contracts.
- Rigorously pursue timely payment of customer invoices.
- Perform cash application transactions.
- Process customer credit card payments
- Commission preparation and administration on a monthly basis.
- Machine Cost Tracking and Analysis.
- Backup for all accounts payable transactions including vouchering, payment and problem resolution.
- Assist with month end closing and financial reporting activities.
- Provide support as necessary to the human resource function.
1-2 years of accounts receivable and/or general accounting experience
1-2 years of cash application and/or month-end close experience
Associate degree in business required.
Extensive knowledge of excel and word required.
Prior use of SAP Business System preferred.
