Our company is looking for an Estimator that will join our experienced Estimating Team. you will be responsible for Using tables and data accumulated from past work, and new quotations from material suppliers and/or sub-contractors to calculate the total cost of projects. Scope

Responsible for developing cost estimates on routine projects under direct supervision for construction as required by client’s documents.

*Experience with Stick Built Curtain Wall, Custom Storefront and Tenant Improvements preferred*

Key Responsibilities

• Track information from the various types of Bid software and emails retrieved from all contractors.
• Print plans and manage the different types of information and store for review.
• Review construction documents and understands scope of work to bid.
• Execute take-offs of construction documents.
• Input take-offs into computer spreadsheet.
• Obtain pricing for materials.
• Obtain bids from subcontractors.
• Prepares cost analysis in computer by recapitulating material, labor, equipment, subcontractor and overhead costs incurred in the installation of items.
• Where predetermined standard(s) are not available, makes an estimate.
• Informs Project Manager, Service Manager, or immediate supervisor of any observed inaccuracies or omissions in quoted items or computer database.

Position Requirements, Qualifications, & Skills

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentage and to draw and interpret graphs.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations . 
• Also other industry Specific software such as Glaziers Studio, Blue Beam and Salesforce

To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, e-mail software and the use of the Internet.
