Overview

The Accounts Payable Intern is responsible for various auditing and processing tasks within the Accounts Payable department. This internship will last from June 2024 to August 2024.

Duties and Responsibilities 

Validation of payment terms 

W9 review 

Open AP credit review 

Research of missing credits and bills 

Responsible for indexing and routing of POS and expense invoices to branch personnel 

Ad hoc projects 

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma

One year of experience in accounting practices 

Strong analytical skills 

Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships. 

Knowledge of computerized applications, for example, word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation software, and email. 

Physical Demands

Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine.

May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 15 lbs Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
