Overview

The Vice President, Ecommerce is a key role responsible for strategically delivering the ecommerce business #1 door WW, Omni-channel Client Services, and development of econcession strategy in North America. This position will drive strategy and execution in collaboration with cross functional leaders in the US and at Headquarters across the following: Omni-channel, merchandising, marketing, CRM, and wholesale. The Director will oversee 4 direct report as well as oversee the greater client services team. Reporting to directly to the region President with dotted line reporting to HQ ecommerce Omni-channel Director.

Your Mission & Impact

  • Oversee the ecommerce function understanding digital KPIs, ensuring business achieves commercial targets and strategically building/owning overall profitable ecommerce P&L.
  • Lead E2E strategic launches of wholesale .com conversions to new econcession model. Ensuring strong partnership with wholesale, legal, IT, Finance, logistics, merchandising, and 3rd partners navigating complex negotiations in all areas of the business. Build product and marketing plan in cooperation with vendor to achieve turnover targets and key categories developments.
  • Build & execute against 3–5 year strategic growth plan under the direction of the zone president to ensure all milestones are achieved. Ensuring plan is aligned with cross-functional partners as well as HQ ecommerce and IT teams
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communications team, to create annual performance marketing strategy ensuring aligned ecommerce targets are achieved in terms of awareness, traffic, and conversion. Monitoring marketing vision is executed consistently to brand standards.
  • Support strategically building online assortment by participating in each seasonal buy. Ensuring to give feedback around ecommerce exclusive product potential and seasonal key business drivers.
  • In partnership with merchandising and supply chain, monitor onsite assortment strategy, visual e-merchandising and inventory levels to ensure appropriate in-stock positions on all ecommerce and e-concession channels.
  • Partner with HQ to drive site experience and strategy, which includes defining an end-to-end omni-client journey for Givenchy.com. Ensuring best in class shopping and brand experiences are offered. As part of this, site personalization, targeting and testing will be key.
  • Set client services objectives, ensuring the brand luxury client experience both online and offline (3rd party call center) is best in class. Results and improvements will be monitor/measured via mystery shopping and monthly reporting. Driving the growth of client services to be a profit center in line with other luxury Maisons.
  • Oversee direct report with responsibilities over operations including order management ensuring SLAs for all operations are on track to achieve and exceed internal and industry benchmarks.
  • Keep updated on digital trends and innovations, share best practices within the team

PROFILE

The compensation for this position ranges from $212,500 - $250,000 (annually). The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience. In addition, there is a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks, and a retirement plan with employer contribution.

Your Added Value

  • 5- 7 years related experience
  • Experience running small to medium scale ecommerce business for a US retail organization, including expense budget oversight.
  • Knowledge of the fashion/luxury industry preferred not required.
  • Proven business strategy, planning, analytical, complex problem -solving and negotiation skills.
  • Strong collaborative skills including leadership; ability to set vision and strategy across a variety of functions, inspire and motivate cross functional partners and key stakeholders.
  • Ecommerce performance marketing and merchandising exposure with strong understanding of key levers and opportunities.
  • Experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform preferred but not required.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain relationships with business partners across several business matrices (i.e. local vs HQ, cross functional within brand, locally across LVMH as appropriate).
  • Ability to balance client experience, business needs, and resources to ensure correct prioritization of cross-functional work.
  • Highly agile and able to execute while dealing with ambiguity.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of consumer mindset/ consumer orientation.
