Roles and Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Collaborate with fellow renewal team members to ensure that all renewals are processed accurately and on-time.
• Execute the renewal process by efficiently documenting and communicating to our broker and carrier partners, along with our TPA.
• Manage multiple Benefit Administration Systems for the processing of coverage renewals through each system, including new lines of coverage.
• Gain knowledge of insurance products including but not limited to: dental, life, disability, vision, accident, critical illness and medical.
• Create, monitor, and hold all parties accountable to specific, measurable, and well-defined deadlines for key information needed to process renewals on-time.

Required, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• The ideal candidate will be comfortable with all methods of communication: in person, phone and email.
• Must have the ability to learn quickly.
• The candidate has a sense of urgency and takes pride in their work.
• Must be comfortable in a team environment.
• Must have the ability to articulate why all pieces of key information are required on or by their corresponding deadlines.
• Must be highly organized and detail oriented and able to structure the day based on deadlines and pending items.

The qualified candidate should have the following:

• Insurance carrier or broker experience is not required but preferred
• Self-motivated and goal oriented
• Strong organizational, time management and follow-through skills
• Highly proficient in the basics of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Undergraduate degree (Preferred, but not required)
• Desire and ability to continually learn new products, services and processes
• Life and Health licensed within 180 days of employment
