Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis is dedicated to helping girls become the leaders they were born to be. The barriers of girls are already high, and for girls of color or girls living in poverty, they are even higher. Every girl deserves to know that she is strong, smart, and bold. Through our in-depth, hands-on programming, we provide guidance and support to help every girl achieve her goals. We are looking to add a Development Coordinator is to support the Development Team in growing fundraising revenue, maintaining positive donor relationships, and expanding funding partnerships. This role is an integral part of the Development Team and will successfully navigate a variety of constituent relationships with the overarching goal to raise funds to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. This position will also collaborate with other staff members on activities designed to enhance and support the overall mission of Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis.

Responsibilities

• Support Director of Development in all fundraising initiatives,
• High focus on drafting documents related to foundation and corporate grant proposals and reports
• Support donor acknowledgement process and procedures
• Ensure quality data management and donor reports using agency’s CRM
• Conduct prospect research for corporate and foundation partners, individuals, and third-party fundraising opportunities
• Maintain a small portfolio of donors
• Collaborate with Director of Communications & Community Relations on creation of digital and print media (Canva) and maintenance of agency website (WordPress)
• And any other duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Organization’s Values

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent job experience
• Strong computer skills (including Microsoft Office products)
• Canva or Adobe experience preferred
• WordPress experience preferred
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Some non-profit experience is a plus
• Bilingual is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
