MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Utilize Salesforce (or Girl Scout database) to record customer engagements.
• Provide customer support to adult members, parents, general public and community partners.
• Utilize telephone, email, and text communication to complete assigned tasks.
• Maintain critical touchpoints throughout the year to increase volunteer engagement and retention.
• Responds to inquiries utilizing resources, knowledge articles, other staff, and departments.
• Process membership applications and payments; record as instructed.
• Provides support and guidance for problem solving and conflict resolution in a timely manner in partnership with section directors and senior staff.
• Keeps current on Girl Scout program information (GSLE, highest awards, product sales, etc.) and supports training and messaging offered to volunteers.
• Cultivates relationships with troop leadership teams to promote retention.
• Provides program, training, and product sales teams with essential information to support work areas.
• Interprets the Girl Scout Leadership Experience philosophy, GSUSA program materials, and council policies, standards, and procedures.
• Fosters and cultivates a pluralistic and supportive environment for volunteers and colleagues; supports GSNCA and GSUSA diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires the physical mobility to sit and walk for moderate periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Requires ability to drive during day and night hours in various weather conditions and to remote locations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate degree preferred. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance and have access to a vehicle as travel may be required.
• Must be available to work extended hours including evenings, weekends as needed and occasional overnight travel as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
