Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Treatment Coordinator to join our team. The Treatment Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office by managing patient appointments, coordinating treatment plans, and providing exceptional customer service.

Duties:

- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently using open dental software
- Coordinate treatment plans with dentists and specialists
- Verify insurance coverage and communicate financial responsibilities to patients
- Maintain patient records accurately and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, billing, and processing payments

Requirements:

- Proven experience in a similar role within a dental office setting
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of dental procedures
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality protocols
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient care and satisfaction
- Familiarity with dental office operations and administrative tasks
- Ability to work effectively with electronic health records systems like open dental
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask efficiently
