Gillmann Services, Inc. is now hiring an Excavation Superintendent for a civil excavation company. Must have previous construction background in civil, excavation, concrete, and pipe work.

This is Monday - Friday, $50-55 per hour, car allowance, and paid weekly!

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for on-site supervision and coordination for the successful completion of construction projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in project turnover meetings with estimating and project management
• Determine project requirements and scope, coordinate the establishment and monitoring of a timeline for project completion
• Conduct daily performance reviews and assess project timeline adherence
• Manage employees, conduct performance reviews, perform corrective actions, monitor team cohesiveness and ensure desirable team dynamics
• Review safety requirements and assist in developing a safety plan
• Mobilize equipment and materials to the site, including temporary utilities as needed
• Coordinate layout for the project, including necessary elevations, baselines, benchmarks, building points, etc.
• Establish manpower requirements, forecast upcoming activities, and coordinate execution of the work
• Coordinate subcontractors, materials suppliers, and equipment to support the schedule
• Ensure work is being installed per drawings and specifications, including all standards for quality control
• Conduct weekly meetings to include safety and schedule review, update, and forecasting
• Coordination with the customer to meet project goals and achieve customer satisfaction
• Support project management and estimating with input on schedule, means and methods, and labor requirements
• Complete punch list, project closeout, and demobilization

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
