Construction Superintendent Position Summary: Plan, coordinate and supervise all activities of the project to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Pay Commensurate with Experience

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years experience with civil / structural concrete is required.
• Experience with water and wastewater treatment construction preferred.
• Experience in underground utility installation, process piping preferred.
• 2 years experience as a supervisor or foreman in the construction field.

Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:

• Mechanical experience: Pumps, treatment equipment, piping preferred
• Advanced blueprint reading
• Knowledge of concrete forming systems
• Computer literate, use of applications of Excel, Procore, and Outlook.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Detail oriented and quality-focused mindset.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise crew, ensuring safety measures are followed.
• Plan and schedule construction activities, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Develop a complete understanding of all contract documents, including specifications, plans, addendums, and work scope.
• Monitor progress, quality, and efficiency of the construction project.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, General Superintendent, and engineers to resolve issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Review and implement all required safety precautions on the job site including toolbox talks, site-specific safety plan, analyzing fall protection, trench shoring or layback, personal protection equipment, and completing JSA's.
