Position Details
Title: Teacher Assistant
Location: Broussard and Lafayette
Pay Range: $1600- $1800 monthly (Pay is based on an hourly rate. This rate is based on position, experience, and education/certifications.)
Qualifications
- Teachers must have a CDA or college degree in education or are currently enrolled in a program to obtain one. Teachers with a CDA should be interested in enrolling in a program to obtain an associates or bachelors degree. Teacher assistants must have a CDA or college degree in education or be willing to enroll in a program to obtain one.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working in a licensed preschool or early childhood center
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must be able to work with others
- Must have an understanding of child development and child behaviors
- Must have a valid CPR certification
- Must pass a criminal background check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
