GH Group is Hiring a Senior Operations Lead Near Goleta, CA

Farmacy Isla Vista is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Lead to support Store Management and ensure operational efficiency at the Store level.

The Senior Operations Lead provides best in class customer engagement and drives sales. Under the direction of management, the Senior Operations Lead takes responsibility for all sales floor activities and execution of the store’s daily operational functions. They act with integrity and adhere to company policies. The Senior Operation Lead’s customers include all Store Employees, Corporate Business Partners and Store Customers.

In adherence to all compliance regulations governing the purchasing and selling of Cannabis and Non-Cannabis product, the Senior Floor Lead will partner with store management to oversee all facets of policy and procedures and operational administrative duties.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Profitability
    • Drive and support Store’s profitability by guiding team members to utilize company reports to analyze trends and drive business.
    • Assist store management by running reports on budget and expense related items.
    • Prioritizes and communicates department issues to store management.
    • Ensures expense controls within the Store are met by executing management’s initiatives and strategies under the direction of management.
    • Support execution of designated in-store promotions and GWPs to support growth of business and Customer engagement.
    • Support and communicate utilization of a centralized calendar of designated brand demos, trainings, and in-store events with team to present a cohesive monthly and quarterly

· Operations

    • Support and lead the team to perform all Store level operational procedures accurately and in a timely fashion, in accordance with all company policies and procedures.
    • Show team members how to use company reports to increase Store sales.
    • Support of all operational tasks regarding menus; images, naming conventions,
    • Assist store goals of protecting our assets by training in Loss Prevention awareness and overseeing adherence to Loss Prevention practices when in Store.
    • Support store management and Security Team to ensure all standards are being met by both internal and external guards.
    • Responsible for supporting Store Audits on a regular basis and reporting results to store management.
    • Assist in leading the team in shipping and receiving process and complete shipment turnaround
    • Responsible for ensuring all operational tasks are completed and that all backstock areas are clean and organized.
    • Ensure compliance with all DCC, State and City
    • Ensure compliance with Company emergency and safety procedures to protect Employees and Customers from accidents and incidents.
    • Support store goal of achieving statistical results (sales, payroll, shrinkage).

· Communication

    • Lead with effective and positive communications skills in both written and verbal form. Communicates Store and company information/directives to the Store Team.
    • Communicate designated category promos and events to Store team.

· People Development

    • Under the guidance and direction of store management, assume the role of a mentor in-store with regards to talent development and Employee
    • Under the guidance and direction of store management, supports staff development, models the way in maintaining relationships with our customer and enhances the brand’s image through their team.
    • Under the guidance and direction of store management, support the development of team members with an aptitude or interest in Store
    • Maximizes sales through management of merchandise from receipt to sale.
    • Supports all levels of Customer Service by supporting daily goals and expectations set by store management to create a positive Store environment, and leads store team to do the same.
    • Under direction of store management, train store team on customer standards, product placement and time management.
    • Lead the team to uphold Company Customer service
    • Support the team by contributing to the maintenance of all product stock

· Delivery

    • Ensure a neat, clean, and organized Store environment and stock
    • Exhibit a familiarity with current delivery product and trend
    • Exhibit extensive knowledge of logistics, safety protocols and regulations around Cannabis transportation and delivery.
    • Support the management of daily distribution activity and ensure systems are updated to reflect current data and information.
    • Support process to complete reports and administrative work as needed and

· Merchandising and Display

    • Supports store management by efficiently executing all inventory and merchandising projects.
    • Ensure fast and efficient flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
    • Ensure a neat, clean, and organized Store
    • Exhibit exceptional knowledge of current product and trend
    • Support the Store team by assisting in merchandising and display products as

· Interpersonal Skills and Ownership

    • Act as resource for staff on questions related to customer service and sales, compliance regulation and policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Lead in a retail
