They play a vital role in supporting our operations employees by helping us promote positive relationships between colleagues, handling unemployment claims, and supporting the development of our team on a split shift.

What will your day look like?

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the operations management team on all shifts.
  • Assist operations team with various research projects and or special projects.
  • Promote positive employee relations.
  • Support disciplinary action, 360 feedback surveys, performance improvement plans and exit interviews for all operations employees primarily on off-shifts.
  • Support employee investigations with the operations management team.
  • Act as a liaison between employee and management to answer questions for concerns regarding company policies, payroll, benefits, and general company questions. Will send feedback to the necessary employees to ensure updated FAQ documents.
  • Responsible for attending daily operations meetings.
  • Responsible for attending monthly operational staff meetings, including, but not limited to: Team Lead and Supervisor round table discussions.
  • Partners with EHS on incident reviews and investigations
  • Other duties assigned by Management.

What you bring to the table:

  • Knowledge typically gained through a combination of a college degree and/or relevant experience, totaling 3-5 years post-high school.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is helpful.
  • Requires attention to detail and ability to demonstrate a high degree of quality and accuracy in work performance.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships internally and externally at all levels.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Human Resource field.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
  • Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence and make effective presentations.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work well on special projects within time sensitive deadlines, and under pressure.
  • Must have the ability to handle highly sensitive information in a confidential manner.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; intermediate in Microsoft PowerPoint.


Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stoop, reach, stand, walk, lift, pull, push, grasp, talk, hear, see, and use repetitive motions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may frequently lift and or move up to 30 pounds of material, boxes, or sit for long periods of time, etc. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision such as reading handwritten and or typed material and must have the ability to focus.
