Get It Recruit - Hospitality is Hiring a Remote Front Desk Host - The Landing - Remote | WFH
We are seeking an exceptional Front Desk Host to join our team at our new hotel/residence property in Dania Beach, Florida. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for providing a warm, professional, and memorable arrival and departure experience. **Key Responsibilities**
Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and personalized manner, providing exceptional customer service and sharing knowledge about the hotel and its unique story.
Assign and escort guests to their rooms, considering their preferences and paying attention to nonverbal cues to ensure a memorable experience.
Process mobile check-ins and provide seamless service in the remote check-in area.
Engage with and navigate high-tech amenities and applications to assist guests.
Collect and verify payment methods, issue room keys, and maintain guest confidentiality throughout their stay and beyond.
Serve as a concierge, providing local information, recommendations, and assistance with reservations or tours.
Assist guests with luggage and handle the receiving, storing, and delivery of both luggage and mail.
Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and requests.
Adhere to scheduled shifts, break times, and lunch requirements.
Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to the manager and complete required safety training and certifications.
Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, while maintaining appropriate etiquette.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and guests.
Take initiative and handle assignments with minimal supervision.
Follow all hotel policies and procedures as outlined in the team member handbook.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
**Qualifications**
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous hospitality experience is preferred
Experience with Opera PMS (Property Management System) is an advantage
Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
**Physical and Mental Demands**
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Ability to bend and lift, pull up to 40 lbs.
Clear communication and normal vision (with correction if needed)
Ability to work long hours as needed
Make sound judgments quickly
Multitask and meet deadlines
Work independently, take direction, and provide direction to others
Manage different personalities within the workplace and community
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Work effectively in stressful, high-pressure situations
