We are seeking an exceptional Front Desk Host to join our team at our new hotel/residence property in Dania Beach, Florida. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for providing a warm, professional, and memorable arrival and departure experience.
**Key Responsibilities**

• Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and personalized manner, providing exceptional customer service and sharing knowledge about the hotel and its unique story.
• Assign and escort guests to their rooms, considering their preferences and paying attention to nonverbal cues to ensure a memorable experience.
• Process mobile check-ins and provide seamless service in the remote check-in area.
• Engage with and navigate high-tech amenities and applications to assist guests.
• Collect and verify payment methods, issue room keys, and maintain guest confidentiality throughout their stay and beyond.
• Serve as a concierge, providing local information, recommendations, and assistance with reservations or tours.
• Assist guests with luggage and handle the receiving, storing, and delivery of both luggage and mail.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and requests.
• Adhere to scheduled shifts, break times, and lunch requirements.
• Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to the manager and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, while maintaining appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and guests.
• Take initiative and handle assignments with minimal supervision.
• Follow all hotel policies and procedures as outlined in the team member handbook.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

**Qualifications**

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous hospitality experience is preferred
• Experience with Opera PMS (Property Management System) is an advantage
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written

**Physical and Mental Demands**

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to bend and lift, pull up to 40 lbs.
