Get It Recruit - Finance is Hiring a Remote Corporate Controller -- Remote | WFH
Responsibilities
- Financial Oversight: Manage all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Regulatory Compliance: Lead the preparation and filing of SEC reports, including Form 10-Qs, Form 10-Ks, and Form 8-Ks, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Month-End Close: Oversee the timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct analytical reviews of financial statements, presenting reports to senior leadership and providing insights into the company's financial health.
- Cash Management: Maintain oversight of bank and cash management activities, including accounts payable, receivables, and debt-related reporting.
- Audit Management: Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, managing audit activities and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
- Ad-Hoc Reporting: Prepare ad-hoc financial statements and analyses as needed, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation required.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and SEC reporting requirements.
- Experience in public accounting or publicly traded companies preferred.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and work both independently and collaboratively.
Remote (East Coast) with occasional travel (10-20%).

Salary: $130,000.00 - $136,000.00 per year
