Job PurposeAs a Virtual Clinical Administrative Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Next Gen Neuro's Clinical and Finance Operations remotely. Your contributions are integral to our patient care team, involving real-time documentation of patient activities to ensure accurate record-keeping. This customer-centric role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in data entry, excellent organizational and communication skills, and adeptness with various technologies. Duties And ResponsibilitiesCoordinate communication between facility partners and NGN Shift Coordinators and Remote LTM/EEG Analysts. Schedule patient appointments and act as a liaison between NGN and facility partners. Maintain accuracy of patient logs and records while ensuring confidentiality. Assist with administrative tasks within EMR systems, including managing snapboards and billing activities. Support technologist and physician credentialing tasks. Complete patient billing activities and ensure services are accurately coded. Working ConditionsThis is a full-time remote position with flexible schedules, including rotating weekends, to accommodate our 24/7 business hours. A HIPAA-compliant work area and reliable cell phone and internet connection are essential. Qualifications And RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years' experience in clinical/healthcare record-keeping. Certification in medical assisting (CMA) is preferred. Proficiency in Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office Suite. Typing speed >45 words per minute (WPM), >60 WPM preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills and ability to handle challenging customer interactions.
