The ideal candidate willbe capable of communicating the importance and knowledge of safety culture toindividuals at all levels within the organization. A willingness to respond inurgent or emergent repairs after regular business hours may be a necessity. Aclean driving record is required. Responsibilities for the Health & Safety Administrator
·Create, implement,ensure compliance, and regular updates to HS&E policies and procedurescomply with applicable local, federal, and state regulations.
·Prepare and report HS&Etraining and audit information to leadership team.
·Analyze trends andformulate preventive strategies to add continual improvement to processes andprocedures.
·Regularly performworkplace audits, including site inspections, job safety analyses (JSAs), andPPE assessments at all company locations.
·Work with members at alllevels throughout the organization to complete auditing processes, ensurecompliance and identify improvement opportunities.
·The ability toproblem-solve, recommend actionable changes, follow-up to ensure procedures areexecuted effectively.
·Investigate incidents,accidents, and injuries; establish research initiatives to identify root causesand implement corrective actions for unsafe conditions and practices.
·Oversees emergencypreparedness planning and environmental incident response.
·Manage compliance andconsortium platforms (ISN, Avetta, TPS, etc.)
·Coordinatetraining events and other professional training meetings, and specialpromotional activities, among others as needed throughout the company territorywith central focus on health and safety.
·Allother duties as assigned by supervision.
Requirements for the Health & Safety Administrator
·Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HSE or related field preferred,but not required.
·One to three years of related experience in coordinating,administering, or organizing people and events with a primary focus on healthand safety.
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·Attention to detail, organizational aptitude, and superior customerservice skills necessary
·Monday-Friday, Salary Non-Exempt
·Travel up to 50% in Company Vehicle
