The Role

GeoComply is seeking a Head of Talent Acquisition to lead and shape the talent strategy for their North American (Canada & US) and UK/European teams. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, this role involves overseeing the full recruitment process, developing and enhancing employer branding, and collaborating with global teams for consistency. The successful candidate will lead a Talent Acquisition team, focusing on leadership, process ownership, metrics, talent identification, and branding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a small but mighty Talent Acquisition team of Talent Acquisition Specialists (Recruiters) and a Recruiting Coordinator. 
  • Recruiting Process Ownership: Own the entire full-cycle recruitment process for entry-level to executive roles in Canada, the US, the UK, and Poland—partner with Vietnamese peers to drive consistent practices across GeoComply. 
  • Talent Acquisition Metrics: Establish and regularly report metrics (KPIs) that measure the effectiveness of recruitment systems & processes; introduce process improvements where necessary.
  • Talent Identifier & Teacher: Act as a trusted business partner for hiring managers, providing insights into the external talent market. 
  • Employer Branding: Own and continually enhance the employer brand and recruitment marketing strategies (including conferences or hiring events) for GeoComply. Understand the products & customers of GeoComply so you are an expert in marketing opportunities to potential candidates.
  • Recruiting Processes: Develop best practices for speed to hire, quality, and diversity in hiring. Be a continual learner of available tools in the talent acquisition space, including AI applications.
Who You Are
  • Over 10 years of talent acquisition/recruiting experience with a minimum of five years of direct managerial experience leading a geographically dispersed team.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech company; bonus points for pre-IPO/start-up experience.
  • Success in setting up and improving recruiting processes, systems & metrics. 
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills are top-notch, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Understanding of Total Compensation; comfortable explaining it to candidates. 
  • Previous marketing and/or employer branding experience.
  • Must be able to work out of our South Lake Union Seattle office a minimum of four days per week; regular travel to Vancouver, BC.
Bonus Points
  • Bachelor’s degree in business.
  • Experience in the US and/or Canada, bonus points for European experience.

$150,000 - $220,000 a year
The expected salary range for this position is from $150,000 - $220,000 annually. The base pay offered may vary depending on a variety of factors, including your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
