Role Overview

Genus PLC has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for an Early Career Program Manager to lead our Award Winning campus recruiting program. Our Early Career Program was recognized by Campus Forward as one of the top Small Early Career Programs in 2023.

This is a remote position, but will require visits to our DeForest, WI, campus to provide onsite support intern activities and events when necessary. The Early Career Program Manager has primary accountability for developing and implementing strategies to attract, engage, and retain early in career talent. This role involves establishing and nurturing relationship with universities, colleges, and students, managing internship programs, organizing campus and onsite events, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure a successful candidate experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and manage internship and early in career programs that provide valuable experiences for both students and the organization.
  • Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and mentoring of interns.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key school contacts, faculty, and student organizations.
  • Collaborate with schools to create internship and recruitment opportunities for students.
  • Plan and execute campus recruitment events including career fairs, information session, and workshops.
  • Represent the organization at school events to promote the company and its career opportunities.
  • Collaborate with HR partners and hiring manages to identify hiring needs for entry-level positions.
  • Implement innovative strategies to attract top talent, including social media campaigns, employer branding initiatives, and networking events.
  • Design and implement early career development programs, including training sessions, mentorship programs, and leadership initiatives.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Communicate program goals, updates, and successes to internals teams and external partners.
  • Uphold the Genus core values, mission and vision.
  • Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours.
  • Performs other projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications: (required)• Prior recruiting experience preferably in a corporate setting• Strong interpersonal and networking skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Excellent organizational and project management skills particularly event planning• Exceptional communication skills• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:• Prior experience in university relations or campus recruiting • Experience with employer branding and social media recruitment strategies• Familiarity with various recruiting tools and platforms (experience with iCims is a plus)
