GENPAK is Hiring a Benefits Administrator Near Charlotte, NC

This position will work a Hybrid schedule.

The Benefits Administrator is a key member of the Human Resources team, responsible for overseeing the administration of all employee benefit programs. This role ensures employees understand and can effectively utilize the company-offered benefits package.

  • Oversees the administration of employee benefit programs, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement savings plans, and flexible spending accounts.
  • Communicate effectively with employees about benefit programs, including conducting open enrollment meetings and providing ongoing guidance.
  • Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve benefit-related issues and answer employee questions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee benefit records.
  • Stay informed about current trends and best practices in employee benefits and make recommendations for enhancements.
  • Work with benefit providers and vendors to ensure smooth program administration.
Requirements:
  • An understanding of human resources principles and practices.
  • Minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience in benefits administration.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong understanding of employee benefit plans, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plans, and flexible spending accounts.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven PC skills and experience using various software packages are required, i.e. Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel. Experienced in developing spread sheets and Human Resource metrics is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with ADP and ADP HRIS systems a plus.
