RN (Registered Nurse) l Labor & Delivery

Pay Details:

• $60/hour blended rate

Pay Breakdown:

• Weekly travel stipend: $40/hr
• Weekly Taxable: $20/hr

Requirements:

• 3 years RN experience
• 3 years Labor and Delivery experience
• Charge and Preceptor EXP REQ
• Must be Certified in Electronic Fetal Monitoring through NCC
• Skills Required: Circulate for C-section
• Skills Preferred: Triage, Proficient in sterile vaginal exams
• Perm address must be 50 miles away. Locals accepted at lower rate

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical procedures and possess exceptional patient care skills.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct physical examinations on expectant mothers
- Perform venipuncture and administer injections as needed
- Assist in suturing and wound care procedures
- Monitor and operate neonatal ventilators
- Utilize eClinicalWorks for patient record management
- Conduct patient assessments during labor and delivery
- Provide care in ambulatory surgery center settings
- Offer memory care support to patients as required

Qualifications:

- Valid RN license with Labor and Delivery experience
- Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques
- Familiarity with patient assessment protocols
- Experience in neonatal care and ventilator management
- Ability to suture wounds effectively
- Knowledge of eClinicalWorks or similar EMR systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
