Our Labor and Delivery Unit stands out with its unique approach – L&D RNs serve as dedicated nurses to mothers during deliveries, while Neonatal Assessment Nurses specialize in caring for infants. With a 10-bed unit, part of our Certified Baby-Friendly Women's Health Unit, mothers enjoy spacious, private L&D rooms. Choose the schedule that suits you best with straight shifts, including day or evening shifts, featuring three 12-hour shifts per week and a rotating weekend schedule (every 3rd weekend) with minimal on-call duties.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Delivers proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex.
• Identifies current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations.
• Critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications

•ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.

•Prior Clinical Nursing maternal health experience preferred (1-2 years of nursing experience).

•Active MD RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers.
