8 hour shifts; 40hours/week

Must have 2 years of experience as a long term care LPN

Must have valid MI LPN license

Must have current BLS certification

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Your role will involve administering medications, performing diagnostic evaluations, and providing support to patients in various healthcare settings.

Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples for laboratory testing
- Assist with triage and assessment of patients in emergency room settings
- Provide care for patients in acute care, nursing home, behavioral health, and neonatal ventilator units
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations and procedures as needed
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and self-care techniques
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records

Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
- Previous experience working as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in performing venipuncture and administering medications
- Experience acute care, nursing home is preferred
- Knowledge of infant care and the ability to catheterize patients is a plus
