BDC Customer Service Rep Job Details Job Location Gengras Chrysler Dodge Jeep LLC - East Hartford, CT Position Type Full Time **Position Summary:**

The BDC Customer Service Rep will sell appointments to dealership potential customers in our service centers that have denied work in the past that will consider getting the repairs on their vehicle, through response via phone and internet.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

* Build and maintain relationships with our customers, peers, and other Gengras employees

* Respond to Internet Service Leads

* Handle all incoming calls

* Sell Appointments to the Dealership

* Arrange Appointments with Sales and post to DealerSocket (database)

* Data input for Dealership potential customers

**Nature of Customer Contact:**

* High level of direct customer contact via telephone and internet. Access to customer-sensitive data.

**Minimum Experience, Skills & Knowledge:**

* Internet Knowledge

* Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal & Written)

* Automobile Industry Knowledge a plus

**Minimum Education:**

* High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college is preferred

**Physical and Cognitive Requirements:**

* Able to sit for extended periods of time

* Able to perform fine motor functions like typing, filing, using a calculator

* Ability to work in a team environment

* Able to adapt well to periodic changes

* Ability to follow processes such as scripts and templates
