Overview:
General Plumbing Supply is NJ's largest independent wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, cooling and industrial products. With 22 locations and 13 showrooms showcasing decorative kitchen and bath products, GPS is a growing company with an active environment for employees and customers.

We are seeking a E-Commerce Customer Service Associate to join our team based out of our Piscataway, NJ corporate office.

Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat promptly and professionally.
- Provide information about products and services, take orders, and process returns.
- Maintain customer records by updating account information accurately.

- Monitor the web chat and phone

-Follow up with customers on their orders and bids, along with order and shipment status to ensure everything is shipping on time
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the issue, and following up to ensure resolution.
- Utilize data entry skills to enter customer information accurately into the system.
- Conduct outbound calls for follow-ups or sales purposes.
- Upsell products or services to increase revenue.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in English
- Strong phone etiquette and active listening skills.
- Previous experience in customer service or sales roles preferred.
- Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Competency in data entry to maintain accurate customer records.

-Must be proficient in excel

-Understand how to navigate shopify

-Have worked with UPS, USPS and other shipping companies managing deliveries
- Comfortable with outbound calling for various purposes including sales or follow-ups.-Bonus: Experience with Epicor Eclipse or Solar products

-Bonus: Experience with Starship shipping software and Veeqo

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
