Title: Accounting Clerk / Customer Service Representative

Summary: The accounting clerk handles daily billing, receivables and checkouts. Marina month end accounting reports and backup detail to the accounting department. Responsible for answering customer phone calls, processing sales transactions and account management. Face to face contact with customers, confident individual. Experienced in collections and/or retail preferred. Clean driving record to run miscellaneous errands for the office and marinas. 

Reports To: Marina Manager

Job Duties: Responsible for taking customer calls, managing customer accounts and collections. Inform customer of deals and promotions, sell products and services, take payment and other pertinent information, and responsible for digital marketing posts to social media accounts. Also responsible for daily checkouts, cash reconciliations, point of sale transactions, customer billing, accounts receivable and statements. Month-end responsibilities include: gas sales, internal gas usage and gas pump reports. Duties also include other miscellaneous tasks and projects.

Requirements: Collections, Retail & Customer Service experience preferred. Must work three weekends per month April through October.

Education: Associates or Bachelor Degree in Accounting, or Equivalent Experience

People Skills: Ability to communicate professionally

Training/Knowledge: Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
