Responsibilities:
- Active shift management, managing front and back of house employees and assisting everywhere it is needed
- Assess staff performance and assist in training, developing and re-training staff as needed
- Manage labor and food costs
- Follows company operational policies and procedures
- Manage the restaurant to meet company standards in food quality, food safety, and cleanliness
- Assist in interviewing and hiring staff
- Most importantly, lead by example in promoting a fun but hardworking and efficient work place that treats all employees and guests with respect and courtesy. We like our staff and our customers and we actually enjoy coming to work every day.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2 years management or supervisory experience in hospitality *2 years casual dining or full service restaurant management experience strongly preferred
- ServSafe, local and state certifications, local bartending license, or the ability to obtain required
- Stress management/composure
- Proven leadership and time management skills
- Expert in proper food handling techniques and procedures
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Position may include walking, bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling or moving objects up to 50 pounds
- Certain other physical requirements may apply, as reasonably applicable in a standard kitchen/restaurant environment
