Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front of House Manager to join our team. As the Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and a smooth dining experience. Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders
- Train new employees on restaurant policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Conduct interviews and make hiring decisions for front-of-house positions
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of front-of-house supplies, such as menus, utensils, and condiments
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in cash register operations
- Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in restaurant management or a related role is required
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory control and food service management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems
