Laradon is Hiring a Marketing and Communications Intern Near Denver, CO
Schedule: Flexible 2-3 days per week based on workload. Flex schedule (at least one day in office to collect content) with the ability to work from home.
*This is an unpaid internship and you must be able to receive college credit for the role. Number of credits dependent upon hours worked!
Tasks and duties the internship include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the communications manager with creating unique and interesting content for the Laradon social media channels- Facebook, Instagram, X & LinkedIn
- Supporting the communications manager in furthering the success of Laradon's TikTok account
- The ability to go out on the Laradon campus on your own to film, interview, and edit content
- Creating content for the Laradon.org blog on a bi-weekly basis
- This includes setting up interviews, taking photos, interviewing, writing and posting the story
- Assistance in creating flyers for on-campus events
- Provide support for on and off campus events
- Is looking to expand their knowledge in all things communications and marketing in the non-profit sector
- Is hungry to tell stories that create change in our community
- Has experience with creating content for social media and blog outlets on their own
- Feels comfortable working alongside individuals in the intellectual and developmental disability community
- Feels comfortable creating stories on their own with support from the Communications Manager
- Must be able to receive school credit for the internship.
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- This internship requires the intern to be at Laradon once a week to gather content, with a separate work-from-home day to wrap up projects during the week as needed.
