As a Clinical Assistant/Scribe, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will assist doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care, care management, organization and communication.

Additionally, Clinical Assistant/Scribes are responsible for listening, observing, and accurately documenting real-time interactions between providers and their patients. An In-Person Scribe accompanies the provider in the exam room and records/documents detailed information into the electronic medical record (EMR) to boost efficiency and productivity for improved patient flow and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and document basic medical history including medications or changes to medical history
• Organize and schedule appointments
• Update and file medical records
• Arrange laboratory services
• Assist during medical examinations
• Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
