Gastroenterology Associates of Colorado Springs is Hiring a Medical Receptionist Near Colorado, CO

We are a small physician owned; patient experience centered clinic focused on providing high quality healthcare in our community. We are a team-based organization who stives to provide an experience for our patients that not only meets their physical needs but also their emotional ones. We are seeking applicants who are organized, personable, positive and dependable. A friendly face to greet our patients.

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday
  • 8 Hour Shifts
  • Closed - Paid Holidays

Responsibilities

  • Greet and communicate with patients and visitors within the facility
  • Register patients and verify identity, demographics, financial and insurance information
  • Ability to communicate with clinical staff and problem solve
  • Collect and record patient cost share payments
  • Utilize technology and "square" to sell products
  • Maintain clean and tidy lobby area
  • Patient chart preparation
  • Data Entry
  • Other Tasks as Assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Familiarity with medical software preferred
  • Solution focused communication skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
