**POSITION OVERVIEW**
As a member of our family owned business, the customer service representative will be responsible for accurately taking and entering customer orders. They will also be responsible for identifying possible areas of concern and contacting the appropriate personnel. Provide feedback to management regarding customer purchasing patterns and trends. They are able to multitask in a fast paced environment and handle multiple busy phone lines at one time.
**REQUIREMENTS**
* Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
* One (1) to three (3) years Customer Service experience required.
* Excellent Customer Service Skills (professional, friendly, courteous and helpful).
* Excellent Problem Solving Skills.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Able to speak clearly and professionally.
* Proficient in 10 key data entry.
* Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) with thorough knowledge of Excel and other spreadsheet functions.
* Excellent analytical and thinking skills.
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule which will include some evenings, weekends and overtime.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Answer incoming calls and properly direct/route calls.
* In a professional manner, accurately take and key in customers orders.
* Ensure that daily customers have placed an order, if not will follow up with customers.
* Check the night call list to identify any customers who have not placed an order. Follow up with any customers who did not place an order to ensure an order is placed.
* Must be able to complete end of day reporting tasks and order verification.
* Have the ability to recognize and calm a dissatisfied customer in a professional manner.
* Will ensure all paperwork is neat, accurate and turned in promptly.
* Maintain professional relations with all Customers, Night Receiving Manager, Operations Manager, Sales Team & Sales Manager, Capitol City Produce Staff, peers and vendors.
