Overview:
Star of the North Academy invites applications for the role of Human Resources Specialist. We are looking for an organized, meticulous, and proactive professional to strengthen our HR department. The ideal candidate will excel in supporting and empowering our workforce, ensuring rigorous compliance with HR regulations and policies.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and streamline recruitment and onboarding processes, including advertising job openings, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and executing background checks.
• Ensure meticulous management and updating of employee records and necessary documentation.
• Design and implement employee training and development programs tailored to foster growth and improvement.
• Administer employee benefits and oversee payroll operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Resolve employee relations issues and provide expert advice on HR policies and procedures to maintain a harmonious workplace.
• Contribute to various HR projects and strategic initiatives, enhancing organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HR coordination or a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
• Comprehensive understanding of HR policies, practices, and legal guidelines.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of nurturing strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
• Demonstrated ability to discreetly handle sensitive information, ensuring privacy and confidentiality.
