Welder (Pressure Vessel)
We are in search for candidates that have min 2-5 year of experience working in fabrication with good knowledge of welding on pressure vessels, tanks, bottles, manways, nozzles, and saddle supports. We are a ASME pressure vessel fabricator that cater to the Petrochem industry, along with various vessel products. The ideal candidate will have a great understanding of utilizing the following welding applications:
Work Experience
•Must - SMAW
•Occasional - GMAW or FCAW
•Ability gouge for repairs
•Blueprint Reading/Interpretation
•Material Knowledge
•Pressure Vessel Codes/Standards
•Understanding Safety Protocols
•Analog and digital equipment
•Operating overhead crane
•Welding Techniques
Duties/Responsibilities
•Collaborate with team members and other departments
•Ensure compliance with industry codes (ASME BPVC Section VIII)
•Follow proper welding procedures
•Identify/address welding-related challenges
•Perform various welding techniques
•Prepare materials for welding
•Select/prepare filler materials
•Set up and operate welding equipment
