General Manager Responsibilities

Leadership:

• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of restoration technicians, project managers, and administrative staff.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment that prioritizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and mentorship to team members.

Operations:

• Oversee all restoration projects from initial assessment to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and industry standards.
• Develop and implement effective project management processes and protocols.
• Manage and optimize resource allocation, including equipment, materials, and personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental guidelines.

Business Development:

• Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve growth and profitability goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies, property managers, and other industry partners.
• Oversee marketing and sales initiatives to generate new leads and secure contracts.

Financial Management:

• Prepare and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and identify areas for cost optimization.
• Oversee the billing process and ensure timely collection of payments.
• Generate reports and analyze data to track key performance indicators (KPIs).

Other Duties:

• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements for General Manager

• At least 5yr. experience in a leadership role in the restoration industry

• Extensive knowledge of mold mitigation, water damage restoration, fire and smoke damage restoration, and hazardous materials remediation.
• Proven track record of successfully managing restoration projects and exceeding client expectations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and industry software.
• Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
