Team or Function Overview

The Siplast Guarantee Service department supports and partners with various internal and external stakeholders to provide best-in-class services associated with guarantee-related services.

Summary

The Siplast Guarantee Services Representative position is accountable for guarantee-related services within the department, and for supporting the field sales and field technical activities of Siplast.

General responsibilities include job file setup and organization, guarantee issuance, maintenance of document library, and other aspects of Siplast guarantee procedures.

This position provides the necessary administrative support for all Siplast employees associated with guarantee matters and other related intercompany functions.

The Siplat Guarantee Services Representative reports directly to the Siplast Guarantee Services Manager.

Essential Duties

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Partnering with field personnel on final inspection requests
• Managing administrative functions to include organizing, completing, and filing any and all documents associated with approved guarantee applications, preparing Certificates of Analysis forms, and updating databases as necessary
• Resolving credit and debit issues associated with guarantee releases
• Providing final review and approval of job / project files prior to issuance of guarantee documents
• Closing job / project files and issuing guarantees to customers in a timely manner
• Leading training sessions to cover guarantee services topics for internal customers and stakeholders as needed

Physical Demands

• Ability to frequently work in a stationary position for long periods of time
• Ability to frequently move about to accomplish tasks or to move from one work area to another
• Close visual acuity to view documents, computer screens, and files
• Ability to frequently and quickly converse with and convey information to others on the phone and in person
• Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment and keyboards
• Ability to position self to bend, pull, and reach at or below shoulder level to perform filing duties and application demos Ability to move up to 25 lbs.

frequently (files, boxes, etc.) and up to 50 lbs. occasionally (products / materials for training & demos)

Ability to work with heights; ascend / descend ladders and stairs; position self to move safely over uneven surfaces; work in outdoor conditions including high / low temperatures, dust, humidity, etc.

wear / work in PPE; perceive hazards and quickly respond to sounds on job sites during occasional participation in training activities, roof inspections, roof application demos, etc.

Under This Roof, We Require

• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of Google Suite and MS Office
• Excellent interpersonal skills including both verbal and written communication and the ability to establish and maintain business relationships
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, and resolution skills

Under This Roof, We Also Value

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and / or 5 years of roofing product knowledge
• Knowledge of the roofing industry or Siplast products especially in deck design, substrate materials, and membrane technology
• Experience in the repair / service areas of commercial roofing
